@RinguPingu I mean, that thread essentially asks for the bar not to be raised. Regardless of wants though, the bar has been raised, at least in the minds of consumers. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for high quality, when most RPGs from larger studios seem mediocre at best.

@RinguPingu Hmm, maybe you're right! I mean, having BG3 as a standard is a little bit unfair when the giants can't even hit DivOS2 levels of quality.

More spontaneous posting! I just spent about an hour digging into the specifics of the Pathfinder 2e Witch Archetype, trying to figure out if the Familiar mentioned in it is a Witch Familiar or a normal familiar. Apparently, this has been a great source of confusion across the Pathfinder community, but it does appear that Logan Bonner (Pathfinder Lead Designer) stated that RAI it is a normal familiar but weakened. Of course, this makes no sense, since that would mean that if your Witch Archetype familiar was to perish, you could hypothetically lose the spells you gained from the Witch Archetype RAW, since familiars remembering spells are a Witch Familiar exclusive thing.

In conclusion, the Witch Archetype is funky and the Witch Remaster is sorely needed.

Sometimes I wonder why Google absolutely destroyed their amazing Image Search and replaced it with the garbage that is Google Lens.

Note, I'm not a big fan of Google, but at least their image search was somewhat useful at one point in time xP

So I am a little bit disappointed with Paizo's Pathfinder 2e Remaster Core Preview, but only because I really wanted a little bit more of a conversion guide rather than a Rage of Elements preview!
