Last week my players vanquished a Lich by tricking it into walking into a magical anti-undead barrier.
Which would've been great, if it wasn't for the fact that the Lich was an ally, and that the players had just forgotten about the powerful anti-undead barrier.
Their shock when the Lich exploded into thousands of pieces was palpable. :neocat_laugh_sweat:
