I've noticed some people are using Mastodon like they use Twitter, and are just on TRANSMIT mode, and not interacting with other people. From my short experience on Mastodon, this space is social and full of community, not a platform to shout from. Am I wrong?

@DahliaRedux Well, the spaces I see on Mastodon, and the Fediverse in general, tend to be social spaces! Transmit-only mode is nom for like bots (to get cute cat pictures from reddit into one's feed), but less nom when it comes to people. Fun interactions with cool (potentially never seen before) individuals is the way to go :blobfox:

@rain it's lovely to hear that, I've had more interaction on here, and it's all pretty positive, not like unrealistic positivity posts, but social chat and community. It's great finding so many clever people here too that have so much talent in tech and software. I get to learn a bit from them 😊
