I was at Skansen today, and in their recreation of an old-timey industrial workshop they had this banner from the first May 1st demonstrations, in 1890.

Workers in the industrialised nations went on strike to demand an 8-hour work day, claiming (rightly) that the increases in productivity gave them the right to more free time.

Over a century later, it's about time that we raise the bar. It's time for a #4DayWeek.
