Part of me hopes that this Unity nonsense is going to do for Godot (and similar open-source engines) what Elon's handling of Twitter did for Mastodon... and then I remember that most of my friends went over to Bluesky 😅

Like, I fundamentally cannot get over that when faced with the option to leave the corporate bullshit behind, so many people apparently decided that they'd rather throw the dice with another corporate social media platform instead of going to the Fediverse.

@rain Yeah, the fedidrama can make the entire concept seem... unstable, I guess. But at least it's human drama, not corpo bullshit.
